The Boston Center for Education and Profession Development, Inc., or BCEPD, promotes educational and professional opportunities between China and the United States.
Founded and directed by Gang Xu, Ph.D., a former Harvard fellow and Yale faculty member as well as a
scholar and popular writer on Sino-US education comparison, BCEPD provides services to students and professionals in tutoring, consulting, and networking.

BCEPD is building into a brand name with its business focus in the area of college and secondary school application. BCEPD is selective in accepting
clients; it has developed a model of "serving good students from good families for our good schools (3goods)" in high school admission consulting*.
BCEPD believes that applying to US schools is a journey that involves understanding US cultural values and societal expectations. BCEPD has placed strong emphasis in its tutoring and consulting on preparing Chinese students and families for a smooth transition into the U.S.

BCEPD has signed an agreement with Tufts University Summer English Language Programs, enrolling students
from China. BCEPD actively promotes various summer
programs in New England area to Chinese students.
The Center is reviewing, editing and publishing information on college admission and US boarding schools, to help Chinese students and families attain a more accurate understanding of US education system. Many of BCEPD publications are well circulated and highly acclaimed in China
